Patton was a dog owned by Commandant Spangler in the episode Stock Car Races. He was Spangler's sniffer dog who would always be able to rat out Francis for smoking cigarettes on the academy's property. Francis bought a snake and named it Otis so that it could attack Patton, which was a success. Patton was eaten alive and killed by Otis, much to the dismay of Spangler and the happiness of the other cadets.
